Mikael Liwgren new CEO at COT-Clean Oil Technology AB

While we have strengthened our technical service resources, with location in Malmö, the board has decided to focus operations on the sales office in Malmö and the technical development unit in Ljungby.

Mats Backlund, CEO since 2020 and based in Stockholm, will leave the company. Mikael Liwgren, Sales Manager and Deputy CEO, will take over the role of CEO of the company with immediate effect.

Mikael was hired by the company as Sales Manager in August 2024 and has been responsible as acting CEO since mid-October, when Mats Backlund was partially or completely absent due to personal reasons.

We thank Mats for his contribution to the company and wish him all the best in his new future challenges.

We wish Mikael all success with the continued development of the company together with the team in Malmö and Ljungby.
